What should I wear? Decisions, decisions!

Bring along a selection of clothes, avoiding busy patterns, stripes and anything fussy around the neck. For a group/family shot, try to wear colours that complement you as a group. Bring some ‘dressing up’ clothes too, for the fun shots.

Hair & make-up Have a good hair day!

Arrive at the studio with the most complicated hair style you plan to wear, you don’t want to waste your session hairdressing! Make-up should be kept natural and fairly subtle.

Young children It’s playtime!

Dress them in smart, casual clothing and try to ensure that everyone arrives in a relaxed manner. It is meant to be fun! Bring favourite toys, props or music, a change of clothes, brushes and make-up.

Babies Hey baby-face!

You will obviously be the best person to decide what time of day is best to book. We have a comfortable changing room for you to use should you need to feed or change your baby.

Dress them in soft comfortable clothing, for instance stiff denim dungarees do not photograph well on a 3 month old! Bring any special shawls, blankets or toys that may be useful.

Don’t be too concerned with your baby opening its eyes for the camera, some of the best images are of a sleeping cherub!

Come to your session prepared to be photographed with your children, even if you don’t.
